Cicero (106–43 BC), full name Marcus Tullius Cicero, was a Roman statesman, lawyer, political theorist, philosopher and one of Rome's greatest orators. Marcus Tullius Cicero ( ; ; 3 January 106 BC – 7 December 43 BC) was a Roman statesman, lawyer, scholar, philosopher, orator, writer and Academic skeptic, who tried to uphold optimate principles during the political crises that led to the establishment of the Roman Empire. His extensive writings include treatises on rhetoric, philosophy and politics. He is considered one of Rome's greatest orators and prose stylists and the innovator of what became known as "Ciceronian rhetoric". Cicero was educated in Rome and in Greece. He came from a wealthy municipal family of the Roman equestrian order, and served as consul in 63 BC. He greatly influenced both ancient and modern reception of the Latin language. Cicero Creek (Missouri)
Cicero Creek is a stream in western Washington County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of Brazil Creek. The stream headwaters arise at approximately at an elevation of approximately 1040 feet. The stream flows generally west for 2.5 miles to its confluence with Brazil Creek at at an elevation of 780 feet. The confluence is adjacent to Missouri Route W four miles south-southeast of Anthonies Mill. Cicero Creek took its name from the nearby extinct community of Cicero. David John Cicero (born May 29, 1970, Greenport, New York, United States) is a Scottish-American singer and keyboardist who was signed in 1991 to Spaghetti Records, a record label owned by Pet Shop Boys. Releasing material as Cicero, he went on to have minor success in the early 1990s. Career Cicero was born in Long Island, but when his parents divorced, he moved to Livingston, Scotland. In 1987, his school band Pneumatic Beat came third in a Battle of the Bands competition encouraging Cicero to become a musician full time. In 1989, he attended a Pet Shop Boys concert in Glasgow and gave a demo tape to Peter Andreas, Pet Shop Boys' personal assistant. Elyesa Bazna (), sometimes known as Ilyaz and Iliaz Bazna (; 28 July 1904 – 21 December 1970), was a espionage, secret agent for Nazi Germany during World War II, operating under the code name Cicero. In 1943, Bazna was hired as a valet by Hughe Knatchbull-Hugessen, the British ambassador in Ankara, Turkey. He photographed British documents in Knatchbull-Hugessen's possession, and sold them to the Germans through their attaché Ludwig Carl Moyzisch in what became known as the ''Cicero affair''. Quintus Tullius Cicero ( , ; 102 BC – 43 BC) was a Roman statesman and military leader, as well as the younger brother of Marcus Tullius Cicero. He was born into a family of the equestrian order, as the son of a wealthy landowner in Arpinum, some south-east of Rome.
