César Abregú
César Daniel Abregú (born 23 October 1994) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Deportivo La Merced. Career Abregú's first senior career team was San Martín; he joined their system in 2011. He remained with the club for six seasons, debuting in 2015 versus Chaco For Ever in Torneo Federal A on 28 August. Overall, he participated in thirty-four matches for the club; including in Primera B Nacional after San Martín were promoted in 2016. On 31 July 2017, Torneo Federal A side San Jorge signed Abregú. Fourteen appearances followed in all competitions, which preceded his departure in June 2018. January 2019 saw Abregú move to Atlético Concepción of the inaugural Torneo Regional Federal Amateur; a fourth tier. In 2020, Abregú moved to Deportivo La Merced. Gustavo Ariel Abregú (born 4 July 1997) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for San Martín. Career Abregú's career began with San Martín. He was selected in three fixtures during the 2016 Torneo Federal A, which ended with promotion to Primera B Nacional. Two campaigns later, San Martín were promoted to the Argentine Primera División; though Abregú had only featured once in the prior two seasons. 2017–18 Torneo Federal A
The 2017–18 Argentine Torneo Federal A, was the 5th season of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The champion was promoted to Primera B Nacional. 39 teams are competing in the league, 31 returning from the 2016–17 season, 4 teams that were relegated from Primera B Nacional and 4 teams promoted from Federal B. The regular season began on September 17, 2017 and ended in May 2018. Format First stage The teams were divided into three zones with ten teams and one zone with nine teams (a total of 39 teams) in each zone and it was played in a round-robin tournament whereby each team played each one of the other teams two times. The 2016–17 Argentine Primera B Nacional was the 32nd season of the Argentine second division. The season began in August 2016 and ended in July 2017. Twenty-three teams competed in the league, twenty returning from the 2016 season, one team that was relegated from Primera División and two teams promoted from Federal A and B Metropolitana.
