César (footballer, Born 1995)
César Augusto Soares dos Reis Ribela (born 16 February 1995), simply known as César, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Avaí as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Uberaba, Minas Gerais, César played for hometown sides Independente AC and Triângulo Mineiro FC before moving to the Paraná state in 2012, after agreeing to a contract with Junior Team. In 2014, he signed a professional deal with Londrina, being initially assigned to the youth setup. Promoted to the first team in 2015, César made his senior debut on 26 March 2017, starting in a 0–0 Campeonato Paranaense away draw against J. Malucelli. He subsequently became a regular starter during the season, appearing in 36 Série B matches and winning the 2017 Primeira Liga. On 12 June 2018, César moved abroad and joined Portuguese LigaPro side Estoril, on a one-year loan deal. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, commonly known as the Série C or the Brazilian Série C to distinguish it from the Italian Serie C, is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Beginning in 2009, the Série C was reduced from 64 teams to 20 and the new Campeonato Brasileiro Série D is the qualifier for Brazilian league football. 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition began on 28 May and ended on 28 November. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2020 season, four promoted from the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C ( Brusque, Londrina, Remo and Vila Nova), and four relegated from the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (Botafogo, Coritiba, Goiás and Vasco da Gama). Brusque were deducted three points after they were punished by Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva (STJD) for racial abuse aimed toward Londrina's player Celsinho during the match Brusque v Londrina, played on 28 August (21st round).
