Cutfather
Mich Hedin Hansen (born 9 April 1968), known professionally as Cutfather, is a Danish music producer, songwriter, remixer and DJ based in Copenhagen. Cutfather has a studio in Njalsgade, Copenhagen. Career Cutfather is perhaps best known for his remix of " Return of the Mack" by Mark Morrison (1996), and the song "Superstar" recorded by Christine Milton (2002) and Jamelia (2003). Cutfather has previously worked with Joe Belmaati in the songwriting and production team Cutfather & Joe. As part of the Cutfather & Joe partnership, he wrote, produced and remixed for Peter Andre, Another Level, Damage, Lighthouse Family, Ace of Base, Westlife, Blue, Jamelia, Shayne Ward, Lee Ryan, Lemar, Blazin' Squad and Kylie Minogue. Cutfather has also worked with Danish producer Jonas Jeberg. Superstar (Christine Milton Song)
"Superstar" is a song written by Mich Hansen, Joe Belmaati, and Remee and performed by Danish pop singer Christine Milton. It was released in January 2003 as the lead single from Milton's debut studio album, ''Friday'' (2004), and spent seven weeks at number one on the Danish Singles Chart. The song was later covered to international success by British singer Jamelia. Soulshock & Cutfather
Soulshock & Cutfather was a Danish production duo active in the late 1980s and early 1990s, made up of Carsten Schack, better known as Soulshock, and Cutfather, Mich Hedin Hansen, better known as Cutfather. As a production and DJ duo, they remixed songs by Danish artists such as Lis Sørensen ("Mine øjne de skal se"), Cut 'N' Move ("Get Serious" and "Spread Love"), Laid Back ("Bakerman") and Back to Back ("Jonathan"). In 1990, they started a record label together, Soulpower Productions, as part of Medley Records, where they particularly produced for Yasmin and Cut 'N' Move. Several times they won mixing championships and produced for Queen Latifah and Ultra Naté. Return Of The Mack
"Return of the Mack" is a song written and recorded by British R&B singer Mark Morrison, released by WEA and Atlantic as the third single from his debut album by the same name (1996) (contrary to the lyrics, this was not a 'comeback song'). The song was produced by Morrison with Phil Chill and Cutfather & Joe, and topped the UK Singles Chart a month after its release, then became a European and Australian hit. Christine Milton (born 18 July 1985) is a Danish singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. She was one of the participants in Denmark's version of the ''Popstars'' franchise, having competed in season 2. Despite not winning, she was signed to record label BMG. Career She is the original singer behind Jamelia's international hit single "Superstar", which was written and produced by Danish producers Cutfather & Joe and Remee in 2002, and released in January 2003.
