Custom Robo GX
is an action role-playing game developed by Noise, and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance on July 26, 2002, in Japan. The game stayed on ''Nintendo Power''s future release list for a few years, until the release of the next title of the series, '' Custom Robo: Battle Revolution'' for the GameCube (known as ''Custom Robo'' in North America). NOISE also planned the sequel ''Custom Robo GX 2'', but later dropped it in favor of ''Custom Robo Arena'' for the Nintendo DS. Nintendo previously planned to release it in late 2005 in Japan. ''Custom Robo GX'' is the third title of the ''Custom Robo'' series as well as the last ''Custom Robo'' title never released outside Japan. Noise (Marigul)
is a Japanese video game development company that works in partnership with Nintendo, developing games for the '' Custom Robo'' series. History Noise was founded with a staff of 10 people on September 2, 1996 for the original purpose of developing games for PCs. A short time after, Noise became a part of Marigul Management, a company created by Nintendo and the Japanese telecommunications company Recruit for the purpose of enlisting smaller developers to make original games for the Nintendo 64. The company’s first commercially published game, '' Custom Robo'' for the Nintendo 64, was released in Japan on December 9, 1999 and became a commercial success in Japan, prompting Nintendo to formally enter a publishing agreement with Noise. ''Custom Robo Arena'', known in Japan as , is a science fiction action role playing game for the Nintendo DS. It is the fifth title in the ''Custom Robo'' series. The name was announced during the E3 2006 convention. The game was released later that year on October 19 in Japan. This is the only game in the series that received a global release, launching in North America, Europe, and Australia in 2007, and the only game to feature a two-player mode with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection including voice chat, Multi-Card play, and DS Download Play. The is a handheld game console produced by Nintendo, released globally across 2004 and 2005.
