Crooked Colours
Crooked Colours is the alternative dance project of Australian singer, songwriter and music producer Philip Leonard Slabber (born 14 February 1991) . Based in Fremantle, Western Australia, the project is signed to record label Sweat It Out. Slabber originally conceived the project with fellow producer Leon Debaughn in Perth in 2013. Later joined by drummer Liam Merrett-Park. The project's first album ''Vera'' was released in June 2017. Their sophomore album ''Langata'' was released in 2019. Touring Crooked Colours has performed at many festivals and events including: Groovin The Moo, Spilt Milk, Beyond The Valley, Falls Festival, Bonnaroo, and Splendour In The Grass. A music download is the digital transfer of music via the Internet into a device capable of decoding and playing it, such as a personal computer, portable media player, MP3 player or smartphone. The Australian Independent Record Awards (commonly known as AIR Awards) is an annual awards night to recognise, promote and celebrate the success of Australia's Independent Music sector. History The inaugural 2006 awards were held at Blacket Hotel in Sydney on 29 November 2006 and sponsored by V energy drinks. The following awards ceremonies were held between October and December in Melbourne, Victoria from 2007 to 2015. Harry Michael (born 12 February 1991), known professionally as Masked Wolf, is an Australian rapper from Sydney, New South Wales. Triple J
Triple J is an Australian government-funded national radio station founded in 1975 as a division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). It aims to appeal to young listeners of alternative music, and plays far more Australian content than commercial networks. The station was set up under the Gough Whitlam government, wanting to extend the appeal of the ABC to young Australians. Initially broadcasting as 2JJ or Double Jay from 19 January 1975, it stood apart from commercial stations with its lack of private advertising and its fringe music programming. Phillipa Margaret "Pip" Brown (born 13 July 1979), better known by her stage name Ladyhawke, is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
