Adrian Crișan (born 7 May 1980) is a Romanian professional table tennis player who currently plays with SV Werder Bremen. Alexandru Crișan
Alexandru Crișan is a Romanian former chess player. Career He was awarded the International Master title in 1991, and the Grandmaster title in 1993. Controversy Suspicions of Crișan's achievements being illegitimate arose when it was found that he had a rating of 2635 without playing any notable games against the top 10 Romanian players, participating in the top group of the Romanian National Championship, participating in any Chess Olympiads, or having any results from official tournaments. Zurab Azmaiparashvili (who was himself later found to have rigged tournament results in his favor) examined some of Crișan's games, and claimed that his rating was impossible given his manner of play. It was found that Crișan had faked tournament reports to gain the Grandmaster title. In September 2001, FIDE Congress recommended for his titles to be revoked, though this was not immediately done. Ion HoraÅ£iu CriÅŸan (1928–1994) was a Romanians, Romanian historian and archaeologist. He conducted research in South-Eastern and Central Europe, focusing on Geto-Dacians and Celts. He has been was very involved with the research at the archaeological site called ''ÅžanÅ£ul Mare'' (The Big Ditch), 7 km from Pecica, Arad County, Romania. He placed the Dacian settlement Ziridava, mentioned by Ptolemy in his Geographia, at this location with a high degree of certainty. He wrote a book named ''Ziridava - The digs from "ȘanÈ›ul Mare" from 1960, 1961, 1962, 1964'', focused on the archaeological digs performed in 1960s at this ancient city. Traian Crișan
Traian CriÅŸan (21 May 1918 – 6 November 1990) was a Romanian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church and served as Secretary Emeritus of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints as well being the Titular Bishop of Drivastum. Born in Iara, Austria-Hungary (present-day Romania), CriÅŸan was ordained as a Greek Catholic priest on 25 March 1945. Zoltan Crișan
Zoltan Crișan (; 3 May 1955 – 14 October 2003) was a Romanian international footballer of Hungarian ethnicity who played for FC Baia Mare, Universitatea Craiova, FC Bihor Oradea, Olt Scornicești and Chimia Râmnicu Vâlcea. He was semifinalist of UEFA Cup with Universitatea Craiova in 1983. After he ended his playing career, he coached Aurul Brad in Romania and Montefano in Italy. Ion Jianu a Romanian journalist, wrote a book about his life called ''Patimile lui Crișan'' (The Passions of Crișan) published in 2004. Crișan died of tuberculosis on 14 October 2003.
