''Creation'' is the fifth extended play (EP) by American DJ and record producer Seven Lions. Released on March 25, 2016, via Casablanca Records and consisting of seven songs, the EP peaked on the Dance/Electronic Albums, Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart at number one. Background Seven Lions said about the album: "Really glad to finally get this EP out there. Some of these songs I have been working on for years. A few of these you will recognize from my recent live sets. Jeff Montalvo (born March 31, 1987), known professionally as Seven Lions, is an American DJ, record producer, instrumentalist and remixer from Santa Barbara, California. Active musically since 2010, his music combines styles as diverse as trance music, trance, melodic dubstep, drum and bass, glitch hop, and electro house. He has released eight EPs, multiple singles, and official remixes for record labels such as Casablanca Records, Owsla, Viper Recordings, Anjunabeats, Republic Records and Monstercat. Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London in the early 2000s. Mike Mains & The Branches is an American indie rock band, based in Michigan. It consists heavily of Mike and Shannon Mains, however, their newest members are Alex Hirlinger, Robbie Barnett, and Allison Barnett. They first made their way into the national spotlight after the release of their debut album, ''Home'', in 2010.
