Courcelles–Saint-Évariste () is a municipality in Beauce-Sartigan Regional County Municipality in the Chaudière-Appalaches region in Quebec, Canada. It is approximately south of Quebec City. Artist Carmen Coulombe was born in Courcelles-Saint-Évariste. History The Municipality of Courcelles–Saint-Évaristee was founded on January 1, 2024, by the merger of the municipalities of Courcelles and Saint-Évariste-de-Forsyth. Geography Coucelles–Saint-Évariste is the gateway to the Eastern Townships tourist region on Route 108 linking the Beauce to the Eastern Townships. But even more significantly, the municipality occupies the centre of the triangle formed by the three service towns of Thetford Mines to the north, Saint-Georges to the east and Lac-Mégantic to the south. Adstock is a municipality in the Les Appalaches Regional County Municipality in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada. Its population in the Canada 2021 Census was 2,903. Adstock was created on February 14, 2001, after the amalgamation of Saint-Méthode-de-Frontenac, Quebec, Saint-Méthode-de-Frontenac and Sacré-Coeur-de-Marie-Partie-Sud, Quebec, Sacré-Coeur-de-Marie-Partie-Sud. Lac-Mégantic () is a town in the Estrie region of Quebec, Canada. It is located on Lac Mégantic, a freshwater lake after which the town was named. Situated in the former Frontenac County in the historic Eastern Townships, Lac-Mégantic is the seat of Le Granit Regional County Municipality and of the judicial district of Mégantic. Saint-Georges () is a city in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is the seat of Beauce-Sartigan Regional County Municipality, part of the Chaudière-Appalaches region. The population was 32,935 as of the Canada 2021 Census. Route 173 runs through Saint-Georges Est (where it is known as Boulevard Lacroix) and heads south to the border with Maine, United States.
