Cosmin Pașcovici
Cosmin Mihai Pașcovici (born 12 April 1978) is a Romanian retired footballer who played as a defender. Club career Cosmin Pașcovici was born on 12 April 1978 in Suceava, Romania, starting to play football in 1997 at Rocar București in Divizia B. Half of year later he moved to Foresta Fălticeni II, then in the following season he went at Politehnica Iași. He spent the 1999–2000 season in Divizia C at Dorna Vatra Dornei, returning afterwards to Divizia B football as he signed with Baia Mare. In 2001, Pașcovici went to play for Petrolul Ploiești where on 27 October he made his Divizia A debut in a 3–0 home win over Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț, scoring his first goal in the competition on 16 March 2002 when he closed the score in a 2–1 loss in the Ploiești derby with Astra. Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1 and officially known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Romania and the highest level of the Romanian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation from and to Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. Mircea Rednic (born 9 April 1962) is a Romanian professional football coach and former player who played as a defender, who is currently the head coach of Belgian Pro League club Standard Liège. Playing career Corvinul Hunedoara Rednic, nicknamed "Puriul" was born on 9 April 1962 in Hunedoara and until he was 14 years old he played table tennis, handball, volleyball and chess before starting to play football at Corvinul Hunedoara's youth center under the guidance of coach Remus Vlad. Coach Mircea Lucescu gave him his debut for Corvinul's senior squad in the 1979–80 Divizia B season, then as the team promoted he also gave him his Divizia A debut on 2 August 1980 in a 4–1 victory against ASA Târgu Mureș. The 2006–07 Liga I was the eighty-ninth season of Liga I, the top-level association football, football league of Romania. Season began on 28 July 2006 and ended on 23 May 2007. Mihai Baicu (21 September 1975 – 6 July 2009) was a Romanian professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Național București, Brăila, Gloria IRIS Corești, Argeș Pitești, Târgoviște, Foresta Suceava, Cittadella, Cremonese, Brașov, FC Ghimbav, Farul Constanța, and Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț. The 2005 Cupa României Final was the 67th final of Romania's most prestigious cup competition. The final was played at the Cotroceni Stadium in Bucharest on 11 May 2005 and was contested between Divizia A sides Dinamo București and Farul Constanța.
