Corey Mylchreest
Corey Mylchreest (born May 8, 1998) is an English actor. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he is known for his starring role as a fictionalized King George III in the Netflix period drama miniseries '' Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story'' (2023). Early life and education Mylchreest was born on May 8, 1998 in Whipps Cross University Hospital and grew up in Leytonstone, east London. He attended Forest School, Walthamstow, and joined the National Youth Theatre. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 2020. Career Upon graduating from RADA, Mylchreest was cast in open-air productions of the Shakespeare plays ''Romeo & Juliet'' and ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'' directed by Abbey Wood. In 2022, he made his television debut in the premiere episode of the Netflix adaptation of Neil Gaiman's '' The Sandman''. Leytonstone ( ) is an area in East London, England, within the London Borough of Waltham Forest. It adjoins Wanstead to the north-east, Forest Gate to the south-east, Stratford to the south-west, Leyton to the west, and Walthamstow to the north-west, and is north-east of Charing Cross. Historically, it was part of the ancient parish of Leyton in the Becontree hundred of Essex. The first documented evidence of settlement is from the 14th century, describing a hamlet at 'Leyton-atte-stone'; a reference to the Roman milestone located within the area, that formed a northern boundary of the parish. Wyndham's Theatre is a West End theatre, one of two opened by actor/manager Charles Wyndham (the other is the Criterion Theatre).
