Copenhagen Pride
Copenhagen Pride is Denmark's largest annual Human Rights festival, focused on LGBT issues. It involves the entire capital Copenhagen and is held in August. A colourful and festive occasion, it combines political issues with concerts, films and a parade. The focal point is the City Hall Square in the city centre. From around 2012 the festival usually opened on the Wednesday of Pride Week, culminating on the Saturday with a parade. In 2017, some 25,000 people took part in the parade with floats and flags, and more than 300,000 people were out in the streets to experience it. In 2022, Copenhagen Pride takes place over nine days from Saturday 13 August to Sunday 21 August. This is the longest Copenhagen Pride except for when the city hosted EuroPride (1996) and WorldPride (2021). Ole Henriksen
Ole Henriksen (born May 4, 1951 in Nibe, Denmark) is a Danish skin cosmetician and manufacturer of skin care products. He currently lives in the United States. (Not to be confused with Ole Henriksen, co-founder of Borland). Early years Ole Henriksen was born and raised in a small town of Nibe, Denmark. After an impoverished upbringing, Henriksen travelled to Indonesia, during which time his skin became inflamed with cystic acne. He was treated by an aesthetician named Lagita, at a clinic in Jakarta. The successful treatment, performed with various botanicals, piqued Henriksen's interest in skin care. Henriksen moved to London to pursue degrees in skin care and cosmetic chemistry, before moving to the United States. Camille Jones (born 25 June 1973) is a Danish pop singer. She is known for her song " The Creeps", written by herself and remixed by Dutch DJ Fedde le Grand, which became a worldwide club hit in the dance scene in 2007. Silas
Silas or Silvanus (; Greek: Σίλας/Σιλουανός; fl. 1st century AD) was a leading member of the Early Christian community, who according to the New Testament accompanied Paul the Apostle on his second missionary journey. Name and etymologies ''Silas'' is traditionally assumed to be the same as the ''Silvanus'' mentioned in four epistles. Some translations, including the New International Version, call him "Silas" in the epistles. Paul, Silas, and Timothy are listed as co-authors of the two New Testament letters to the Thessalonians, though the authorship is disputed. Thomas Holm
Thomas Holm (born 19 February 1981) is a Norwegian former professional footballer. A central midfielder, he played for SC Heerenveen, BV Veendam, Vålerenga, Molde, Tromsø, and Fredrikstad. He is the older half-brother of Vålerenga player Daniel Fredheim Holm. Holm won the Tippeligaen with Vålerenga in 2005 and with Molde in 2011. He was capped four times for Norway. Ida Corr (born 14 March 1977 in Aarhus, Denmark) is a Gambian-Danish singer, songwriter and music producer. Vengaboys () are a Dutch Eurodance music group based in Rotterdam. The group was the creation of Dutch producers Wessel van Diepen and Dennis van den Driesschen (known as Danski and Delmundo). It consists of lead vocalist Kim Sasabone, female vocalist Denise Post-Van Rijswijk and male vocalists Robin Pors and Donny Latupeirissa. Casting and selection of the act was done by van Diepen.
