Aquilla Coonrod
Aquilla Coonrod or Coonrad (c. 1831 – May 14, 1884) was an American soldier in the United States Army, U.S. Army who served with the 14th Ohio Infantry, 14th, 48th Ohio Infantry, 48th and 125th Ohio Infantry, 125th Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the American Civil War, and with the 7th U.S. Cavalry and the 5th U.S. Infantry during the Indian Wars. John Coonrod
The Hunger Project (THP), founded in 1977 with the stated goal of ending world hunger in 25 years, is an organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger. It has ongoing programs in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, where it implements programs aimed at mobilizing rural grassroots communities to achieve sustainable progress in health, education, nutrition, and family income. THP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization incorporated in the state of California. Karin Coonrod
Karin Coonrod is an American theater director and writer who is on the faculty of the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. Coonrod is known for her modern adaptations of classic plays by William Shakespeare and other playwrights. She often chooses to direct plays produced from unusual sources such as lesser-known works by notable playwrights, creating/devising adaptations from non-dramatic sources, and the writings of notable figures in history. Coonrod founded two theater companies: Arden Party (1987–1997) and Compagnia de' Colombari (2004–present). She has also directed several productions presented by Theatre for a New Audience. Her plays have been staged at several notable theaters including the Joseph Papp Public Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Ohio Theater, American Repertory Theatre, and Folger Theatre. Sam Coonrod
Samuel Timothy Coonrod (born September 22, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies, and New York Mets. Coonrod was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in Carrollton, Illinois. He played high school baseball at Carrollton High School, where he helped his team win a state championship his senior season and became the first player in school history to have his jersey number retired. After high school, Coonrod spent three years playing college baseball with the Southern Illinois Salukis of the Missouri Valley Conference.
