Constantin Ștefan (3 June 1939 – 12 September 2012) was a Romanian footballer who played as a left back. Career Constantin Ștefan was born on 3 June 1939 in Bucharest, Romania. He started his career playing at the junior squads of Voința București in 1953, starting his senior career in 1957 by playing two years at CPCS București in Divizia B and Divizia C. Afterwards, he went to play for Divizia B team, Dinamo Obor București for two seasons and a half, reaching the 1960 Cupa României final which was lost with 2–0 in front of Progresul București. He made his Divizia A debut on 11 November 1961, playing for Dinamo București in a 4–1 away victory against Progresul, making a total of 16 appearances during his first season, as the club won the Divizia A title, working with three coaches Traian Ionescu, Constantin Teașcă and Nicolae Dumitru. Bazil Marian
Bazil Marian (7 November 1922 – 19 January 2008) was a Romanian professional footballer and coach. Club career Bazil Marian nicknamed "Bombardierul" (The Bomber) because of his powerful shots was born on 7 November 1922 in Uioara de Sus, Romania and started playing junior level football at age 11 at local club Solvay. He made his Divizia A debut playing for Victoria Cluj on 24 September 1947 in a 2–1 home victory against Venus București. Victoria relegated by the end of the season, but he stayed in Divizia A, playing one season for Mica Brad before moving at Carmen București. Angelo Niculescu
Angelo Niculescu (1 October 1921 – 20 June 2015) was a Romanian football player and manager. He is best remembered in Romania for being the national team's coach at the 1970 World Cup and for inventing the "temporizare" ("delaying") tactics in which the team keeps the possession of the ball inside its own half and the players are using many short passes from one side to another of the field in order to disrupt the opponents patience when they go out of their field to make pressing, this is also considered an early form of tiki-taka, with such tactics he managed to qualify Romania to a World Cup after more than 30 years and register a win against Czechoslovakia. Nicolae Dumitru (footballer)
Nicolae "Nicușor" Dumitru (12 December 1928 – 8 August 2005) was a Romanian striker and manager. He is the most successful Manager in Romania, winning the Romanian first league on seven occasions, all with Dinamo București. Nicolae Dumitru also won two Romanian Cups, and went on to guide Dinamo to the European Cup semi-finals in the 1983–84 season. He has a total of 558 matches as manager in Divizia A. Constantin Teașcă
Constantin Teașcă also known as Titi Teașcă (25 September 1922 – 30 July 1996) was a Romanian football player and manager. Nicknamed "Little Napoleon", Teașcă was known for his controversial training methods for which he would get in conflicts with the players. He was the manager of Romania on two occasions, first in 1962 and then in 1967. He had one experience outside Romania when he managed Turkish side Fenerbahçe from 1970 to 1971. Teașcă has a total of 323 matches as a manager in the Romanian top-division, Divizia A consisting of 120 victories, 64 draws and 139 losses.
