Conner Mantz (born 8 December 1996) is an American long-distance runner, who competes for Nike. He ran collegiately for Brigham Young University, and won the 2020 and 2021 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships. Long-distance running, or endurance running, is a form of continuous running over distances of at least . Physiologically, it is largely aerobic in nature and requires stamina as well as mental strength. Within endurance running comes two different types of respiration.
