Comic Con Experience
CCXP (originally called Comic Con Experience) is a multi-genre entertainment and comic convention that has been variously held in Brazil, Germany and Mexico. The largest pop-culture festival in the world, it is designed along the same lines as San Diego Comic-Con; its attractions and events focus on comics, television series, movies, video games, literature, and the internet. History The first CCXP was held in December 2014 in São Paulo; it was organized jointly by the owners of the website Omelete, the comics agency Chiaroscuro Studios and the toy company Piziitoys. It was attended by an estimated 100,000 members of the public, and 80 companies participated in it. Speculative Fiction
Speculative fiction is an umbrella term, umbrella genre of fiction that encompasses all the subgenres that depart from Realism (arts), realism, or strictly imitating everyday reality, instead presenting fantastical, supernatural, futuristic, or other imaginative realms. This catch-all genre includes, but is not limited to: fantasy, science fiction, science fantasy, superhero fiction, superhero, paranormal fiction, paranormal, supernatural fiction, supernatural, horror fiction, horror, alternate history, magical realism, slipstream genre, slipstream, weird fiction, utopian and dystopian fiction, utopia and dystopia, apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction. Fiona Dourif
Fiona Christianne Dourif (born October 30, 1981) is an American actress and producer. She is best known for her starring role as Nica Pierce in the '' Child's Play'' franchise, including the horror film '' Curse of Chucky'' (2013), its sequel '' Cult of Chucky'' (2017), and the series '' Chucky'' (2021–24). Sean Gordon Murphy (born 1980) is an American comic book writer and artist known for work on books such as '' Joe the Barbarian'' with Grant Morrison, ''Chrononauts'' with Mark Millar, '' American Vampire: Survival of the Fittest'' and ''The Wake'' with Scott Snyder, '' Tokyo Ghost'' with Rick Remender, and the miniseries '' Punk Rock Jesus''. Rafael Grampá
Rafael Grampá is a Brazilian comic book artist and film director, best known for his creator-owned graphic novel '' Mesmo Delivery'' and DC Comics' '' The Dark Knight Returns: The Golden Child''. Career At the age of 14, Grampá drew flags for Rio Grande do Sul municipalities, made t-shirt prints, store logos and children's party decorations. Rafael Albuquerque (born April 12, 1981) is a Brazilian comic book creator primarily for his artwork on titles such as DC Comics' ''Blue Beetle'' and as illustrator and co-creator of ''American Vampire''. Klaus Janson (born January 23, 1952) is an American comics artist, working regularly for Marvel Comics and DC Comics and sporadically for independent companies. While he is best known as an inker, Janson has frequently worked as a penciller and colorist. Early life Klaus Janson was born in Coburg, West Germany. He emigrated to the United States in 1957, settling with his family in Connecticut, where he lived in Bridgeport from 1957 to 1972. Gustavo Duarte (São Paulo, May 19, 1977) is a Brazilian comics artist. His work is known for his usually silent comics, which rely on the characters' body language. Early life and education In 1999, Duarte graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from Unesp in Bauru. Keno Don Hugo Rosa (), known as Don Rosa (born June 29, 1951), is an American comic book writer and illustrator known for his comics about Scrooge McDuck and other Disney comics, Disney characters. Many of his stories are built on characters and locations created by Carl Barks.
