Comblain-au-Pont (; ) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. As of 1 January 2014 Comblain-au-Pont had a total population of 6,754. The total area is 22.68 km2 which gives a population density of 237 inhabitants per km2. It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Amblève and Ourthe. Arrondissement Of Liège
The Arrondissement of Liège (; ) is one of the four administrative arrondissements in the Walloon province of Liège, Belgium. It is both an administrative and a judicial arrondissement. However, the Judicial Arrondissement of Liège also comprises the municipalities of Berloz, Crisnée, Donceel, Faimes, Fexhe-le-Haut-Clocher, Geer, Oreye, Remicourt and Waremme in the Arrondissement of Waremme. The municipality of Comblain-au-Pont, even though it is a part of the Administrative Arrondissement of Liège, is not a part of the Judicial Arrondissement of Liège, but of the Judicial Arrondissement of Huy. Amblève (river)
The Amblève (French language, French, ) or Amel (German language, German, ) is a long river in eastern Belgium in the province of Liège (province), Liège. It is a right tributary of the river Ourthe. It rises near Büllingen in the High Fens or ''Hoge Venen'' (Dutch language, Dutch), ''Hohes Venn'' (German language, German), and ''Hautes Fagnes'' (French language, French), close to the border with Germany. Tributaries of the Amblève are the rivers Chefna, Ninglinspo, Warche, Eau Rouge, Salm River (Belgium), Salm and Lienne. The Amblève flows through the towns of Amel, Stavelot, Trois-Ponts, Remouchamps, and Aywaille. The Amblève joins the river Ourthe in Comblain-au-Pont. Esneux
Esneux (; ) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On 1 January 2006 Esneux had a total population of 13,072. The total area is which gives a population density of 384 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Esneux and Tilff. Other villages are Méry and Hony. They are all to be found in the valley of the Ourthe river south of Liège. A railway line links the 4 villages (and then continues further south to Luxembourg). Although not popular with large numbers of international tourists, Esneux and Tilff do attract people from the local region, due to the local restaurants, the Esneux and Tilff castle, the bee-museum, and several parks. Ourthe
The Ourthe (; Walloon: ''Aiwe d' Oûte'') is a long river in the Ardennes in Wallonia, Belgium. River It is a right tributary to the river Meuse. The Ourthe is formed at the confluence of the ''Ourthe Occidentale'' (Western Ourthe) and the ''Ourthe Orientale'' (Eastern Ourthe), west of Houffalize. The source of the ''Ourthe Occidentale'' is near Libramont-Chevigny, in the Belgian province Luxembourg. The source of the ''Ourthe Orientale'' is near Gouvy, also in the Belgian province Luxembourg, close to the border with Luxembourg. After the confluence of the two Ourthes at Lake Nisramont, the Ourthe flows roughly in north-west and later in northern direction.
