is a Japanese light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kakao Lanthanum. Originally serialized as a web novel in ShÅsetsuka ni NarÅ between August and September 2012, Kadokawa Shoten have published the series since November 2017 under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Masaaki Kiasa was serialized in Media Factory's ''seinen'' manga magazine ''Monthly Comic Alive'' from March 2018 to March 2024. Both the light novel and the manga are licensed in North America by Yen Press. An anime television series adaptation produced by J.C.Staff aired from April to June 2021. Natsume Akatsuki (, ''Akatsuki Natsume'') is a Japanese light novel author and manga writer. He is best known as the creator of the ''KonoSuba'' series. Career In 2012, Akatsuki entered his debut work for the 8th MF Bunko J Light Novel Rookie Award under the pen name . However, it only made it to the second round. After that, he began posting his writing to the user-generated novel website ShÅsetsuka ni NarÅ under the same name.
