Collin Graf
Collin Graf (born September 21, 2002) is an American professional ice hockey player for the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played college ice hockey for Union College and Quinnipiac University. Playing career College Graf began his collegiate career for Union College during the 2021–22 season, where he recorded 11 goals and 11 assists in 37 games. Following his freshman year he transferred to Quinnipiac University. During the 2022–23 season, in his sophomore year, he recorded a team-high 20 goals and 38 assists in 40 games. His 58 points were the most by a Bobcats player since Bryan Leitch set the program-record of 59 points during the 2008–09 season. Hat-trick
A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three Wicket#Dismissing a batsman, wickets with three consecutive delivery (cricket), deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the Essex Chronicle, ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. The Arizona Coyotes are an inactive professional ice hockey team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Luke Kunin
Luke Kunin ( ; born December 4, 1997) is an American professional ice hockey center for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played in the NHL for the Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, and San Jose Sharks. The Wild selected him in the first round, 15th overall, in the 2016 NHL entry draft. Born in Chesterfield, Missouri, Kunin had a number of NHL players for coaches during his minor ice hockey career, including Keith Tkachuk, whose son Matthew he played alongside as a child. Kunin spent one year at the Whitfield School before joining the USA Hockey National Team Development Program, with whom he played in the World U-17 Hockey Challenge and the IIHF World U18 Championship. 2023–24 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Season
The 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began on October 6, 2023, and concluded with the NCAA championship on April 13, 2024. This was the 76th season in which an NCAA ice hockey championship is being held, and is US college hockey's 130th year overall. Conference realignment After Robert Morris suspended its program in the summer of 2021, a successful fundraising campaign allowed the team to return for this season. The program rejoined Atlantic Hockey, bringing the number of conference members back up to 11. The same summer, Augustana University proceeded with plans to promote its athletic department to Division I. The Division I AHCA All-American Teams are an annual honor bestowed by the American Hockey Coaches Association to the college hockey players judged to be the top performers in their division. Each team is composed of at least one goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards on ice hockey programs. At least one all-star team has been named by the since the start of NCAA tournament play in 1947–48 after the conclusion of either the regular season or the conference tournaments. Initially the All-American teams weren't named by ACHA. in the first ten years of the teams the players were selected by some combination of media members and team officials.
