Cole Ully
Cole Ully (born February 20, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward. He is currently signed to UK Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) side Glasgow Clan. Ully was selected by the Dallas Stars in the fifth round (131st overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Ully first played in the Alberta Midget Hockey League with the Calgary Jr. Flames. He was drafted 30th overall in the 2010 WHL Bantom Draft by the Kamloops Blazers. Following his selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, and in the midst of his fourth full season with the Blazers, Ully was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars on December 19, 2014. During the 2014–15 WHL season while playing with the Kamloops Blazers, Ully scored 34 goals and 60 assists, and was named to the WHL Western Conference First All-Star Team. The Texas Stars are a professional ice hockey team based in Cedar Park, Texas. They are the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Dallas Stars. Alberta Midget Hockey League
The Alberta Elite Hockey League or AEHL (formerly the Alberta Midget Hockey League) is the provincial U18 "AAA" ice hockey league for Alberta, Canada. The league consists of 17 teams split into the North and South Divisions. League champions go on to compete with the BC Elite Hockey League champions to represent the Pacific at the annual Telus Cup, Canada's national U18 championship. Assist (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to two players of the scoring team who shot, passed or deflected the Puck (sports)#In ice hockey, puck towards the scoring teammate, or touched it in any other way which enabled the Goal (ice hockey), goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. There can be a maximum of two assists per goal. The assists will be awarded in the order of play, with the last player to pass the puck to the goal scorer getting the primary assist and the player who passed it to the primary assister getting the secondary assist. In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. A goal awards one point to the team attacking the goal scored upon, regardless of which team the player who actually deflected the puck into the goal belongs to (see also own goal). Utah Grizzlies (ECHL)
The Utah Grizzlies are a professional ice hockey team in the ECHL. They play their home games at Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah. Franchise history The current Utah Grizzlies franchise started in 1981 as the Nashville South Stars in Nashville, Tennessee, in the Central Hockey League. Henry Brabham then took over the team in 1983 and relocated them to Vinton, Virginia mid-season, to become the Virginia Lancers. Brabham and the Lancers were then one of the founding members of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) in 1988. The franchise was sold and relocated several times until it went dormant after the 2002–03 season.
