Cole Byers (born April 16, 1983) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. Byers played the 2006–07 and 2007–08 seasons with the Hull Stingrays of the British Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). The Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey (LNAH, ''"North American Hockey League"'') is a low-level professional ice hockey league based in the Canadian province of Quebec. The Columbus Blue Jackets (often simply referred to as the Jackets) are a professional ice hockey team based in Columbus, Ohio. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference, and began play as an expansion team in 2000.
