Colby Village, Nova Scotia
Colby Village is a subdivision of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia notable for being the home of Sidney Crosby and Bissett Park. There are four schools located in Colby Village: Colby Village Elementary, Caldwell Road Elementary, Astral Drive Elementary, and Astral Drive Junior High. The Cole Harbour Outdoor Pool and Tennis Complex is a popular summer spot for the Colby natives with swimming and tennis lessons taught daily. Public transport Colby Village is served by Halifax Transit local bus route "59 Colby", which provides all-day service to nearby Portland Hills Terminal. Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia
Cole Harbour is a former village and current community located in Nova Scotia, Canada that is part of the Halifax Regional Municipality. Geography It is situated 6 kilometres east of the central business district of Dartmouth and takes its name from Cole Harbour, a natural harbour fronting the Atlantic Ocean. Cole Harbour is adjacent to and immediately east of the former city boundary of Dartmouth; prior to municipal amalgamation and the creation of the Halifax Regional Municipality in 1995, Cole Harbour was an unincorporated village within the Municipality of the County of Halifax. Because of amalgamation in the Halifax region, Canada Post recognizes most of Cole Harbour's residents as living in neighboring Dartmouth. Sidney Crosby
Sidney Patrick Crosby (born August 7, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Halifax Transit
Halifax Transit is a Canadian public transport service operating buses and ferries in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Founded as Metro Transit in March 1981, the agency runs two ferry routes, 66 conventional bus routes (including corridor, local, and express services), three regional express routes (called MetroX), and three rural routes.
