Cody Nelson
Cody Nelson (born 13 November 1988) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays for the Mullumbimby Giants. He primarily plays at , but can also fill in at . He previously played for the Gold Coast Titans and the Parramatta Eels. Background Born in Mullumbimby, New South Wales, Nelson played his junior football for the Mullumbimby Giants, before being signed by the Gold Coast Titans. Playing career Early career In 2008, Nelson played for the Gold Coast Titans' NYC team, before moving on to the Titans' Queensland Cup team, Tweed Heads Seagulls in 2009. 2014 In Round 8 of the 2014 NRL season, Nelson made his NRL debut for the Titans against the Wests Tigers. Wentworthville Magpies
The Wentworthville Magpies, colloquially known as ''Wenty'', are a rugby league team based in the suburb of Wentworthville in Sydney's Western Suburbs. Founded in 1963 (or 1937), the club has competed in various Sydney district competitions and, since 2003, the semi-professional Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield competitions in NSW, Australia. The club also fielded a team in the Canterbury Cup NSW as part of a joint-venture with the Parramatta Eels between 2008 and 2019 acting as Parramatta's feeder club. Inter-District/Second Division/Metropolitan Cup During this period Wentworthville ("The Magpies") was the most successful club at this level of competition, competing in every grand final of the Second Division between 1964 and 1973 (winning all but the 1966 and 1972 grand finals). Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Wests Tigers started playing in the 2000 NRL season and they won their maiden premiership in 2005. It is one of only two clubs (the other being the Newcastle Knights) that has never lost a Grand Final in which it has participated. The club also won the World Sevens in 2004. The Wests Tigers play home games at three grounds: Leichhardt Oval (the home ground of Balmain), Campbelltown Stadium (the home ground of Western Suburbs) and Western Sydney Stadium in Parramatta as of 2019, where they have committed to playing four games a year. The Blacktown Workers Rugby League Football Club, also known as Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles, are an Australian rugby league football club based in Blacktown, New South Wales formed in 1962. Since 2017 they have had a side in the NSW Cup, as the feeder team to the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. The NSW Cup, currently known as the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a rugby league competition for clubs in New South Wales. The competition has a history dating back to the NSWRFL's origins in 1908, starting off as a reserve grade competition, and is now the premier open age competition in the state.
