Coco Gauff
Cori Dionne "Coco" Gauff ( ; born March 13, 2004) is an American professional tennis player. She has a career-high ranking of world No. 2 in singles and of world No. 1 in doubles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). Gauff has won ten career singles titles, including two majors at the 2023 US Open and 2025 French Open, as well as the 2024 WTA Finals. She has also won nine doubles titles, including the 2024 French Open partnering with Kateřina Siniaková. Gauff made her WTA Tour debut in March 2019 with the 2019 Miami Open at the age of 15. She received a wildcard into the qualifying draw for the 2019 Wimbledon Championships, where she became the youngest player in the tournament's history to qualify for the main draw. 2022 US Open – Women's Singles
Iga Świątek defeated Ons Jabeur in the final, 6–2, 7–6(7–5) to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 US Open. It was her first US Open title and third major title overall. Świątek was the first player since Angelique Kerber in 2016 to win multiple majors in a season, having also won the 2022 French Open. The WTA Tour (also known as the Hologic WTA Tour for sponsorship reasons) is a worldwide top-tier tennis tour for women and organized by the Women's Tennis Association. Defending champions Neal Skupski and Desirae Krawczyk defeated Matthew Ebden and Samantha Stosur in the final, 6–4, 6–3 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships.
