Coal Mines And Saltworks Of Mélecey
The Mélecey coal mines and saltworks were located in the Haute-Saône Keuperian coal mining basin, Keuperian basin in the Departments of France, department of Haute-Saône, within the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of eastern France. Coal was extracted in the communes of Mélecey and Fallon, Haute-Saône, Fallon from 1778 to 1865, and rock salt from 1850 to 1873.
