Coal Chamber
Coal Chamber is an American nu metal band formed by Dez Fafara and Meegs Rascón in Los Angeles in 1992, initially under the name She's in Pain. The original lineup also consisted of bassist Rayna Foss and drummer Jon Tor. Mike Cox replaced Tor on drums in 1995, and the Coal Chamber lineup was complete. After signing to Roadrunner Records, they released their debut album, '' Coal Chamber'', in 1997. ''Chamber Music'' followed two years later and featured the band's only charting single in the US, a cover of Peter Gabriel's " Shock the Monkey", featuring Ozzy Osbourne as a guest vocalist. Their third album, '' Dark Days'', was released in the spring of 2002. Nadja Peulen temporarily replaced Foss on bass for touring commitments, before joining on a permanent basis in 2002. Loco (Coal Chamber Song)
"Loco" is a song by American nu metal band Coal Chamber. The song was released as the band's debut single off their 1997 self-titled debut album. It is one of the band's best known songs. Music video The video starts off with the ice cream truck (which is on the cover of the album ''Coal Chamber'') rounding a turn and slowly coming to a stop with the beginning of the song playing. When Fafara says the opening line of "Pull", a crazed ice cream truck driver gets off the truck and heads into a nearby house which is home to the members of Coal Chamber. One by one, the driver hunts them down and forces them to stare into a View Master, which shows Coal Chamber performing the song. ''Coal Chamber'' is the debut studio album by American nu metal band Coal Chamber. It was released on February 11, 1997, by Roadrunner Records and contains the single " Loco". The special edition of the album contains the bonus tracks "Headstones and the Walking Dead", "Big Truck (Hand-On-Wheel Mix)", "Pig (Demo)", "Sway (Demo)", "Unspoiled (Demo)", and "Loco (Demo)" (all of which are available on '' Giving the Devil His Due''). ''Chamber Music'' is the second studio album by American nu metal band Coal Chamber, released on Roadrunner Records on September 7, 1999. The album has industrial elements, most notably on their cover of "Shock the Monkey". The shift in sound was influenced by the involvement of several keyboardists, such as Jay Gordon and Amir Derakh of Orgy, DJ Lethal of Limp Bizkit and production assistance from Dave Ogilvie of Skinny Puppy. It is their second-most successful record and achieved moderate commercial and positive critical success. The Roxy Theatre (often just the Roxy) is a nightclub on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, owned by Lou Adler and his son, Nic. Machine Head is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Oakland, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Robb Flynn, who remains the only original member of the band. ''Strangeland'' is a 1998 American horror film written by Dee Snider and directed by John Pieplow. Colin Larkin (born 1949) is a British music writer. He founded and was the editor-in-chief of '' The Encyclopedia of Popular Music''. Along with the ten-volume encyclopedia, Larkin also wrote the book '' All Time Top 1000 Albums'', and edited the ''Guinness Who's Who of Jazz'', the ''Guinness Who's Who of Blues'', and the ''Virgin Encyclopedia of Heavy Rock''.
