Clément Mondinat
Clément Mondinat (born 29 October 2003) is a French rugby union player who plays as a Fly-half for Pau in the Top 14 and represents the France U20 team. He made his Top 14 debut with Pau on 1 October 2022. Playing Career Early Years Clément Mondinat was born on October 29, 2003, in Marseillan, into a family passionate about rugby union. Mondinat started playing rugby at the age of six with USC Pouyastruc, his hometown club. He then moved on to Stado Tarbes PR before joining the academy of Section Paloise in 2019. Professional Career Clément Mondinat began his professional career in January 2021 during the 2021–22 Top 14 season with Section Paloise, making his debut in the 2021–22 EPCR Challenge Cup against CA Brive at just eighteen years old. 2023 World Rugby U20 Championship
The 2023 World Rugby U20 Championship was the 13th edition of the premier age-grade rugby union competition. The tournament is hosted in South Africa for the second time, previously being held in 2012. The 2023 under 20 competition (alongside the Trophy) was the first global U20 competition held since 2019, with the 2020 edition, scheduled to be held in Italy, cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing instability in the world following the pandemic delaying the return of the competition. Joe Simmonds
Joe Simmonds (born 19 December 1996) is an English rugby union player for Top 14 side Section Paloise. He plays as a fly-half and was the Captain of Exeter Chiefs before joining Pau. Early life Simmonds grew up in Teignmouth, Devon, where his father and uncle are both in the fishing industry. His elder brother is Sam Simmonds. In their youth, both attended the Rugby Academy at Ivybridge Community College. Rugby playing career Simmonds made his full debut for Exeter on 4 March 2018 against Saracens and was named man of the match. The 2023–24 Top 14 competition is the 125th French domestic rugby union club competition operated by the Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR). Format The top six teams at the end of the regular season (after all the teams played one another twice, once at home, once away) enter a knockout stage to decide the ''Champions of France''. This consists of three rounds: the teams finishing third to sixth in the table play quarter-finals (hosted by the third and fourth placed teams). The winners then face the top two teams in the semi-finals, with the winners meeting in the final at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille. The Ireland national under-20 rugby team was formed in 2006, having previously been known as the under-21 team. History Ireland have won the Grand Slam four times and the Six Nations Championship five times: 2007, 2010, 2019, 2022 and 2023. In the pandemic-truncated competition in 2020, Ireland won the Triple Crown. At the time the competition was halted, Ireland were undefeated and led the table. Wales National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
The Wales national under-20 rugby union team is for Welsh rugby union players aged 20 or under on 1 January of the year during which they are selected. Under-20 age grade rugby came into existence as a result of the IRB combining the Under 19 Rugby World Championship and Under 21 Rugby World Championship into a single IRB Junior World Championship tournament. They also compete in the Six Nations Under 20s Championship. Six Nations Under-20 Championship Wales finished second in the 2008 tournament, losing only to England. In 2013 Wales were denied a Grand Slam in their final match against England, and ultimately placing second on points difference.
