Cláudio Pitbull
Cláudio Mejolaro (born 8 January 1982), commonly known as Pitbull, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Associação Desportiva Cabofriense. Football career After fine displays at Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, Pitbull was acquired by Portugal's FC Porto in the January 2005 transfer window. Unable to settle with the club, he was loaned several times for the duration of his contract, mainly in that country. On 4 February 2007, Pitbull played his first Primeira Liga match with Académica de Coimbra, against Associação Naval 1º de Maio. For the 2007–08 season he was loaned again, this time to Vitória de Setúbal, where he was the team's top scorer as they overachieved despite facing serious financial problems; in March 2008, he helped the '' Sadinos'' to win the newly created League Cup in a penalty shootout against Sporting Clube de Portugal, also being named the tournament's best player. In association football, a penalty shoot-out (previously known as kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a tie (draw), draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time (if used) has expired. For example, in a FIFA World Cup, penalties are used in elimination matches; the round of 32, the round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and the final (competition), final. The Taça da Liga (), known outside Portugal as Portuguese League Cup, is an annual club football competition organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional (LPFP) for teams competing in the top two tiers of Portuguese football – the Primeira Liga and Liga Portugal 2. Unlike Portugal's other domestic cup competition, the Taça de Portugal, the winners of the Taça da Liga do not qualify for European competitions. For the first round (4 and 5 August), only teams competing in the Liga de Honra participated. In the second round (12 August), Primeira Liga teams entered. Sado River
The Sado () is a river in southern Portugal; it is one of the major rivers in the country. It flows in a northerly direction (the only major Portuguese river to do so) through from its springs in the hills of Ourique before entering the Atlantic Ocean in an estuary in the city of Setúbal.
