Cliff Letcher
Cliff Letcher (9 February 1952 – 31 December 2004) was a professional tennis player from Australia. He played Davis Cup for Austria Davis Cup team, Austria. Letcher enjoyed most of his tennis success while playing doubles. During his career, he won two doubles titles and finished runner-up in doubles at three Grand Slam events. Letcher died on 31 December 2004. His children Clint, Chris and Sophie Letcher were also professional tennis players. Pyramid Hill, Victoria
Pyramid Hill is a town in the Shire of Loddon, Victoria (state), Victoria, Australia, between Bendigo and Kerang. As of the 2021 Australian census, 2021 census, it had a population of 598. Dick Crealy
Richard Crealy (born 18 September 1944) is an Australian former tennis player most notable for reaching the final of the Australian Open in 1970, being a member of the 1970 Australian Davis Cup Team, and winning four Grand Slam titles in doubles. Tennis career Crealy was born in Sydney in 1944. In 1968 he achieved his first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open with his fellow countryman and team mate Allan Stone in doubles. The U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships is an annual ATP Tour tennis tournament. Founded in 1910, it has been held in nearly two dozen cities, and since 2001 has been held in Houston, Texas. It is the only remaining ATP Tour-level tournament in the United States to be played on clay courts. The tournament began in 1910 when the Western Lawn Tennis Association (a section of the United States Lawn Tennis Association now known as the USTA/Midwest) persuaded the USLTA that a National Clay Court Championship would promote the construction of more clay courts in the West. Philip Clive Dent (born 14 February 1950) is a former professional tennis player. Dent's high water mark as a pro singles player was reaching the Australian Open final in 1974, which he lost to Jimmy Connors in four sets. Dent was also the men's doubles champion at the Australian Open in 1975 (with teammate John Alexander), and the mixed-doubles champion at the US Open in 1976 (with teammate Billie Jean King). John Gilbert Alexander (born 4 July 1951), nicknamed JA, is an Australian former professional tennis player, sports broadcaster, and federal politician. As a tennis player, Alexander reached a career-high singles rank of no. 8 in the world in 1975.
