Claudio Gentile
Claudio Gentile (; born 27 September 1953) is an Italian football manager and former player who played as a defender in the 1970s and 1980s. Gentile appeared for Italy in two World Cup tournaments, and played for the winning Italian team in the 1982 final. His club career was notably spent with Juventus for whom he made almost 300 league appearances, winning six national titles and two major European trophies. Club career Gentile was born in Tripoli, Libya to parents from Noto, Sicily. He moved to Brunate, Lombardy with his family at the age of eight. After beginning his career with Arona, Gentile played in Serie B with Varese during the 1972–73 season. He then moved to Juventus and first played for them in a Coppa Italia match against Ascoli on 29 August 1973, with his Serie A debut following on 2 December 1973 against Verona. Tripoli, Libya
Tripoli, historically known as Tripoli-of-the-West, is the capital city, capital and largest city of Libya, with a population of about 1.317 million people in 2021. 1976–77 UEFA Cup
The 1976–77 UEFA Cup was the sixth season of the UEFA Cup, the third-tier club football competition organised by UEFA. The final was played over two legs at Stadio Comunale, Turin, Italy, and at San Mamés, Bilbao, Spain. It was won by Juventus of Italy, who defeated Athletic Bilbao of Spain on the away goals rule after a 2–2 aggregate draw to claim their first UEFA Cup title. This was the first major European conquest for Juventus, having previously lost one European Cup final and two Inter-Cities Fairs' Cup finals. It was the first time that a team from Southern Europe had won the competition, and the last European title for an Italian team for seven years, which was their biggest international drought at club level until 2018. Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC, commonly referred to as Ascoli, is an Italian football club based in Ascoli Piceno, Marche. The club was formed in 1898 and currently plays in Serie C. The team traditionally play in vertical black and white stripes. Brunate
Brunate ( Comasco: ) is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Como in northern Italy, some northeast of Milan. It has some 1,800 residents, but is much more populated in summer, when tourists rent houses and apartments. The town overlooks Como, which lies on the shore of Lake Como some below.
