Clann Mhuíre CLG
Clann Mhuire is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based at Naul, County Dublin, Ireland, serving Naul and its surrounding areas. The club was founded in 1957, and originally based in Reynoldstown before later moving to just outside Naul village. It's current pitch on the Fieldstown road was opened on 16 May 2004 by then-GAA president Sean Kelly. The club fields teams from U-8 to U-18 for both boys and girls. At adult level, the club has two football teams competing in Dublin AFL Div. 3 and AFL Div. 8, the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship, and one ladies football team in Division 2. The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA; ; CLG) is an Irish international amateur sports, amateur sporting and cultural organisation, focused primarily on promoting indigenous Gaelic games and pastimes, which include the traditional Irish sports of hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, Gaelic handball, and GAA rounders. Naul (, also known as "The Naul"), is a village, townland, and Civil parishes in Ireland, civil parish at the northern edge of the traditional County Dublin (in the modern county of Fingal) in Ireland. Seán Kelly (born 26 April 1952) is an Irish politician who has been a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Ireland for the South constituency since July 2009. He is a member of Fine Gael, part of the European People's Party. He served as the 34th President of the Gaelic Athletic Association from 2003 to 2006. He was the first person from County Kerry to hold the office, being elected at his first attempt by a record margin at the GAA Congress in 2002. The Dublin adult football league is divided up into a tier system of 13 teams.
