The abbreviation CitA is sometimes used to refer to this national Citizens Advice organisation. Citizens Advice does not use an apostrophe in its title since the 1980s. A charitable organization or charity is an organization whose primary objectives are philanthropy and social well-being (e.g. educational, Religion, religious or other activities serving the public interest or common good).
