Huelva ( , , ) is a municipality of Spain and the capital of the Huelva (province), province of Huelva, in the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of Andalusia. Sporting Club de Huelva is a Spanish women's football club from Huelva, Andalusia. It was founded in Huelva in 2004 as a restructuring of an homonymous junior (men's) football club, which had been founded in 1979 and dissolved nine years later, by its original founder, Antonio Toledo, who has also served as the team's manager and sporting director. Club de Fútbol Femenino Estudiantes de Huelva was a Spanish women's football team from Huelva created in 1998 and disbanded in 2006. A founding member of the new Superliga Femenina in 2001, it was the city's leading women's club until its disappearance. Its major success was reaching the 2003 Copa de la Reina final, which they lost to CE Sabadell. Estudiantes folded three years later after collapsing financially.
