Cincinnati Wings
The Indianapolis Capitols/Cincinnati Wings were a professional ice hockey team that operated for one season in the Central Professional Hockey League (CPHL). Originally named the Indianapolis Capitals, the team started the 1963–64 season playing out of the Fairgrounds Coliseum in Indianapolis, but only nine games into the season a gas explosion during an ice show destroyed the Indianapolis Coliseum. The Capitols' parent club, the Detroit Red Wings, terminated their lease on the rink and moved the franchise to Cincinnati, Ohio, to become the Cincinnati Wings. The Wings played the remaining games of that season at the Cincinnati Gardens and relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, for the 1964–65 season to become the Memphis Wings. In 1963–64 the combined Indianapolis/Cincinnati team had a record of 12-53-7-31 and finished in 5th (last) place in the CPHL. ...

Robert James Albert Wall (born December 1, 1942) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. Wall played for several teams in the National Hockey League (NHL). Jack Faulkner (ice Hockey)
Jack Faulkner (April 4, 1926 – September 28, 2008) was an American football coach and administrator who most prominently served as head coach of the American Football League (AFL)'s Denver Broncos from 1962 to 1964. He also has been an integral part of the Los Angeles Rams organization, dating back to the team's first tenure in LA Early career Faulkner served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, then married Betty Lou Mackey in 1946. Howie Menard
Howard Hubert Ménard (born April 28, 1942) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played 151 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, Chicago Black Hawks and the Oakland Seals between 1964 and 1970. Most of his career, which lasted from 1962 to 1977, was spent in the minor American Hockey League (AHL). Howie is the brother of Hillary Menard. Howie continues to hold the record for most points in a playoff game (7) in the AHL Calder Cup, with four goals and three assists against the Cleveland Barons on April 12, 1972, while playing for the Baltimore Clippers. Harrison Gray
Harrison Leroy Gray (September 5, 1941 – August 19, 2022) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League with the Detroit Red Wings during the 1963–64 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1961 to 1970, was spent in the minor leagues. Playing career Gray played for only 40 minutes of one NHL game, the November 28, 1963 match against the Montreal Canadiens. He received credit for the loss after allowing 5 goals on 31 shots in a 7–3 loss at Detroit. Gray took over for the injured Terry Sawchuck. From 1964 to 1969, Gray played another 318 games in the Eastern Hockey League before retiring from professional hockey. Prior to playing for the Detroit Red Wings, Gray played 15 games in the Western Hockey League with the Edmonton Flyers, and 3 games with the Cincinnati Wings in the Central Hockey League. Hank Bassen
Henry "Hank, Red" Bassen (December 6, 1932 – May 29, 2009) was a Canadian ice hockey goaltender. He played in the National Hockey League for the Chicago Black Hawks, Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins between 1954 and 1968. He was the father of Bob Bassen, who played 765 regular-season games in the NHL. Playing career Bassen began his NHL career in 1954 with the Chicago Black Hawks where he spent two seasons as the backup to Al Rollins. Bassen went on to have starting roles in the Western Hockey League for the Calgary Stampeders, Seattle Americans and the Vancouver Canucks before moving to the Detroit Red Wings where over three seasons he would serve as the backup to Terry Sawchuk between 1960 and 1963.
