Chýnov is a town in Tábor District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,600 inhabitants. Arnošt Of Pardubice
Arnošt of Pardubice (, ; 25 March 1297 – 30 June 1364) was the first List of bishops and archbishops of Prague, Archbishop of Prague (and the last bishop). He was also an advisor and diplomat to Emperor Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV. Life Arnošt of Pardubice was probably born in Hostinka (today part of Vestec (Náchod District), Vestec), but possibly also in Kłodzko. He was the eldest son of Knight Arnošt of Hostinka, and spent his childhood in Kłodzko. Arnošt inherited the town of Pardubice in 1340. He was confirmed bishop of Prague on 11 March 1343 (3 March 1343 Julian calendar, O.S.), and was commissioned the first Archbishop of Prague on 8 May 1344 (30 April 1344 O.S.). He ordered the monks to contribute to the newly founded Charles University (14th century), hence enhancing the quality of the education in the institution. Oberthal, Switzerland
Oberthal is a municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. History Oberthal is first mentioned in 1275 as ''mons Obertal''. The oldest trace of a settlement in the area is the ruins of a castle on the Chnubel spur. However, no records of the castle have survived and nothing is known about it. The scattered villages and farms had a number of landlords including the Counts of Kyburg and the ''Herrschaft'' of Signau. In 1529, Bern gained control over the entire valley and made it part of the new district of Signau. It was part of the parish of Grosshöchstetten. Beginning in the 19th century, many of the local farmers switched from raising grain and crops for local use to raising cattle for milk and cheese. Adam Zadražil
Adam Zadražil (born 6 August 2000) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for FC Hradec Králové. Life Zadražil was born in Chýnov and started to play football in the local football club at the age of five. Club career From 2016, he played for Táborsko. In March 2018, at the age of 17, he made his senior football debut in Táborsko's Czech National Football League match against SFC Opava, when he came on as a substitute in the 37th minute. František Bílek
František Bílek (6 November 1872, Chýnov – 13 October 1941, Chýnov) was a Czech people, Czech sculptor and architect, in the Art Nouveau and Symbolism (movement), Symbolist styles. Biography His father was a wheelwright. He graduated from primary school in Tábor, then went to study painting with Professor Maxmilián Pirner at the Academy of Fine Arts Prague. As it turned out, he was color blind so, on the advice of his teachers, he transferred to the State Industrial School, where he studied sculpture with Josef Mauder. His younger brother, , would also become a sculptor. In 1891, he received a scholarship from a patron, the businessman , which enabled him to study in Paris at the Académie Colarossi, with Jean Antoine Injalbert. He soon became part of a group of Czech artists living there, including Alfons Mucha. His initial works were inspired by his religious feelings.
