Christophe (singer)
Daniel Bevilacqua (, ; 13 October 1945 – 16 April 2020), better known by the stage name Christophe (), was a French singer and songwriter. Career Born in the Paris suburb of Juvisy-sur-Orge to an Italian father, Bevilacqua was rebellious at school and started leading a pop group when in his mid-teens. His first single, "Reviens Sophie" (1963), was unsuccessful, but after changing his name to Christophe, his second single, " Aline" (1965), rose to the top of the French pop music charts. He continued to have success in France through the 1960s and early 1970s. His hits include the songs "Marionettes", "J'ai entendu la mer", "Excusez-moi Monsieur le Professeur", and "Oh!... Mon Amour" which he sang in French and Italian. After a small break, he returned in 1971, with Francis Dreyfus launching the Motors record label (Disques Motors) and becoming the producer of Christophe records. Cristophe Schatteman (born ), known professionally as Cristophe, is a Belgian-American hairstylist based in Beverly Hills. Cristophe was born, raised and educated in Belgium. He and his wife Danielle moved to the United States in 1982. In May 1993, Cristophe found himself at the center of the " Hairgate" incident. He gave President Clinton a haircut while Air Force One sat on the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport. Marie-Louis-Georges Colomb (Lure, Haute-Saône, 25 May 1856 – Nyons, 3 January 1945) was a French botanist, science populariser, and a pioneer of French comics, known as ''Franco-Belgian comics, bandes dessinées ''. Under the pseudonym Christophe (playing on "Christophe Colomb", the French name for Christopher Columbus, Columbus), Colomb created comics that were popular among the French intelligentsia, yet were published in ''Le Petit Français illustré'', a children's paper. His popular ''L'idée fixe du savant Cosinus'' (1893–1899) featured a brilliant, absent-minded scientist. His other comics included ''La Famille Fenouillard'' (1889); ''Le Sapeur Camember'' (1890–1896); ''Les Malices de Plick et Plock'' (1893–1904); and ''Le Baron de Cramoisy'' (1899). It was a Types of restaurant#Fine dining, fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1989 and retained that rating until 2006. In 2013, Gault Millau awarded the restaurant 14 out of 20 points. The star was gained under the leadership of the Chef#Chef de cuisine, head chef Christophe Royer The last head chef is Jean-Joel Bonsens. Jean-Joel Bonsens and his business partner-sommelier Ellen Mansfield took over the restaurant in 2006. They closed down the restaurant in June 2014.
