Christiane Éluère
Christiane Éluère (born 1946, known in English as Christiane Eluère) is a French curator of heritage, archaeologist and historian specialised in the history of the Celts. Career Christiane Éluère is chief curator of the Center for Research and Restoration of Museums of France. At the National Archaeological Museum in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, she shares responsibility for the protohistoric collections. In 1987, she helped to organise the exhibition ('Treasures of the Celtic Princes'). She is the author of several books on European protohistory and the Celts. Her publications include (1982), (1987), (1989) and (1992), a richly illustrated pocket book for Gallimard's " Découvertes" collection, which has been translated into eight languages, including English, and is often reprinted. Celtic Studies
Celtic studies or Celtology is the academic discipline occupied with the study of any sort of cultural output relating to the Celts, Celtic-speaking peoples (i.e. speakers of Celtic languages). This ranges from linguistics, literature and art history, archaeology and history, the focus lying on the study of the various Celtic languages, living and extinct.Wiley, "Celtic studies, early history of the field" (2006). The primary areas of focus are the six Celtic languages currently in use: Irish language, Irish, Scottish Gaelic, Manx language, Manx, Welsh language, Welsh, Cornish language, Cornish, and Breton language, Breton. In the field of Publishing, book publishing, a collection or, more precisely, editorial collection (; ; ; ), is a set of books published by the same publisher, usually written by various authors, each book with its own Title (publishing), title, but all grouped under the same collective title. The collective title is the title of the collection, it must be mentioned on each book. The books that make up an editorial collection can be published in a specific order or not.
