Christian Standhardinger
Christian Karl Hermoso Standhardinger (born July 4, 1989) is a Filipino-German professional basketball player who last played for the Terrafirma Dyip of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He has won four List of Philippine Basketball Association champions, PBA championships, two PBA Best Player of the Conference Awards, and one PBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award, PBA Finals MVP Award. Born and raised in Germany, Standhardinger started his career in the 2. Basketball Bundesliga. He then moved to the United States to play college basketball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers men's basketball, Nebraska Cornhuskers and Hawaii Rainbow Warriors basketball, Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel is a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The PBA All-Star Game is an exhibition game hosted annually by the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), matching the league's star players using various formats. It is the featured event of PBA All-Star Weekend. The All-Star game was first staged at The ULTRA on June 4, 1989. PBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award
The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Finals Most Valuable Player award is an award given to the Filipino player who makes an outstanding performance during a conference finals given since the 1996 All-Filipino Cup finals. The award is decided by the PBA Press Corps. Usually, the award is given to a player who is a member of the champion team in a conference and is given always at the end of the finals series. There have been times two players from the same team shared the award, with the most recent duo to accomplish this feat being Jimmy Alapag and Jayson Castro during the 2011 Commissioner's Cup finals.
