Christian Früchtl
Christian Martin Früchtl (born 28 January 2000) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Serie A club Lecce. Früchtl has represented Germany at various youth levels internationally. Club career Youth career Früchtl began his youth career at hometown club SV Bischofsmais, before moving to SpVgg Grün-Weiss Deggendorf. In 2014, he moved to the youth academy of Bayern Munich. In 2017, Früchtl won the 2016–17 B-Junioren Bundesliga with Bayern's under-17 team, appearing 14 times during the season. Früchtl also appeared 7 times for Bayern's under-19 team during the 2016–17 season, finishing as runners-up in the A-Junioren Bundesliga. Bayern Munich Früchtl began his senior career for Bayern Munich II in the 2017–18 season, making his debut in the Regionalliga Bayern on 15 August 2017 in a 2–2 draw against VfR Garching. FC Bayern Munich II
FC Bayern Munich II (''FC Bayern Munich Amateure'' until 2005) are the reserve team of German association football club Bayern Munich, currently playing in the Regionalliga Bayern. In 2010–11, they played in the 3. Liga, having qualified for its inaugural season in 2008, and have consistently played at the third level of German football (the highest permissible level for reserve teams) – they played in the Regionalliga Süd from its formation in 1994 to 2008, when it was usurped by the 3. Liga. They have generally achieved at least mid-table finishes at this level, and won the Regionalliga Süd title in 2004. In 2010–11, Bayern II finished last in the 3. Liga, and were thus relegated to the Regionalliga. They afterwards regained promotion by winning the 2018–19 Regionalliga and won the 3. Liga in 2019–20. Under 19 Bundesliga
The Under 19 Bundesliga (German: ''A-Junioren Bundesliga'') is the highest level in German Under 19 football. It was created in 2003 and is divided in three divisions (Nord/Nordost, West und Süd/Südwest) with 14 teams each. The winner of each divisions and the second-placed team from the Süd/Südwest division join the play-offs for the German U19 champions. The forerunner of the Under 19 Bundesliga was the ''A-Jugend-Regionalliga''. In the summer of 2003 the divisions North and Northeast as well as South and Southwest were merged, the division West was simply renamed. The intent was to make youth football more competitive. 2019–20 FC Bayern Munich Season
The 2019–20 FC Bayern Munich season was the 121st season in the football club's history and 55th consecutive and overall season in the top flight of German football, the Bundesliga, having been promoted from the Regionalliga in 1965. Bayern also participated in this season's edition of the domestic cup, the DFB-Pokal, and the premier continental cup competition, the UEFA Champions League. As a result of winning the prior season's Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal, they took part in the German super cup, the DFL-Supercup, as well. After their campaign was halted in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bayern would return to action in May behind closed doors.
