Christopher Lloyd Smalling (born 22 November 1989) is an English professional Association football, footballer who plays as a centre-back for Saudi Pro League club Al-Fayha FC, Al-Fayha. Smalling represented the England national football team, England national team from 2011 to 2017. During his youth, Smalling played for the Millwall F.C., Millwall academy before joining non-League club Maidstone United F.C., Maidstone United. After establishing himself in the Maidstone United first team, he signed for Middlesbrough F.C., Middlesbrough in May 2008. The English Schools' Football Association was founded in 1904 and is the governing body of schools' football in England. It is responsible for the running and development of schools competitions and festivals at primary and secondary school age. The ESFA headquarters is in Stafford.
