Chris Seitz
Christopher Seitz (born March 12, 1987) is an American former soccer player. He played as a goalkeeper in Major League Soccer from 2007 until his retirement in 2021. Youth and college Chris Seitz was awarded Gatorade's California High School Soccer Player of the Year award in 2004 while playing for San Luis Obispo High School under the tutelage of coach Bob Galarneau. He also scored four goals in his junior season, all on penalty kicks. Seitz played college soccer at the University of Maryland for the 2005 and 2006 seasons. As a freshman at Maryland, Seitz won the NCAA national championship by posting a 13–1–2 record with a 0.89 goals against average. He was named College Cup Defensive MVP. During Seitz's two-year career at Maryland he registered a 28–5–3 record with a 0.77 GAA. He was the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2006. 2010 MLS Re-Entry Draft
The two-stage 2010 MLS Re-Entry Draft took place on December 8, 2010 and December 15, 2010. The Stage 1 Draft of the Re-Entry Process took place on Wednesday, December 8, at 2 p.m. ET via teleconference. The Stage 2 Draft took place on Wednesday, December 15, at 2 p.m. ET. All 18 clubs had a representative participate. Both Stage 1 and Stage 2 Drafts were conducted in the same order as the traditional Waiver Draft, with Vancouver selecting 17th and Portland selecting 18th. Brad Knighton
Bradley Burton Knighton (born February 6, 1985) is an American former professional soccer player. He is currently the Goalkeeper coach for Revolution II. College and amateur soccer Knighton played four years of college soccer at UNC-Wilmington. During his time with Wilmington he would be named a two-time All-State selection and two-time All-CAA pick, including First-Team during his senior year in 2006. He was named to the NSCAA/Adidas All-Region team following an outstanding final season with the Seahawks. He would also play for the Indiana Invaders in the USL Premier Development League. Nicholas Paul Rimando (born June 17, 1979) is an American former professional soccer player who played as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake and the United States national team. He holds the Major League Soccer records for career wins, clean sheets, saves, and overall appearances. USL First Division
The USL First Division (USL-1) was a professional men's soccer league in the second tier of the United States league system. It was organized by the United Soccer League as its premier league for men from 1996 to 2010, above the USL Second Division. It began in the 1996 season as the Select League – consisting 21 of the league's best third-tier clubs. It soon merged with the American Professional Soccer League to become the A-League in the 1997 season. It adopted its final name in the 2005 season, following a restructure of the USL.
