Chris Meledandri
Christopher Meledandri (; born May 15, 1959) is an American film producer and founder and CEO of Illumination. He previously served as president of 20th Century Fox Animation, and has worked as the producer for the film series of ''Ice Age'', '' Despicable Me'', '' The Secret Life of Pets'' and '' Sing''. In 2021, he joined Nintendo's board of directors after working with the video game company on '' The Super Mario Bros. Movie''. Meledandri also collaborates with Illumination's corporate sibling DreamWorks Animation. Mark Richard Gordon (born October 10, 1956) is an American producer. He is a former president of the Producers Guild of America. In January 2018, Gordon was named president and chief content officer of film and television for Entertainment One, which had acquired his production company, The Mark Gordon Company. Early life and education Gordon was born on October 10, 1956 in Newport News, Virginia. He is of Jewish descent. He is a graduate of New York University Film School. Daniel Melnick (April 21, 1932 – October 13, 2009) was an American film producer. He began his career in Hollywood as a teenager in television and later became the producer of such films as '' All That Jazz'', ''Altered States'' and '' Straw Dogs''. Roland Meledandri
Roland Meledandri (1929-July 19, 1980) was an American fashion designer who specialized in designing menswear. Meledandri founded his clothing store, named Meledandri after himself, in 1961. Meledandri hired unemployed actors to work as salespeople, dressing them in his own products to attract customers. He disliked the conservative nature of men's fashion at the time, and sold suits that were more closely fitting, with dark-patterned shirts and wider ties than was the norm. The shop was noted for being frequented by a wide range of politicians and celebrities. Meledandri died on July 19, 1980, of a heart attack.
