Chris Lynn
Christopher Austin Lynn (born 10 April 1990) is an Australian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman who plays for Queensland and the Adelaide Strikers in Australian domestic cricket. Lynn was born in Brisbane, Queensland, and attended St Joseph's Nudgee College and the Queensland Academy of Sport. He is known for being an explosive batsman capable of hitting big sixes. Early career and life When not on professional duties, Lynn plays senior cricket for Toombul District Cricket Club in Brisbane. Lynn is a supporter of the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League. Lynn played for the Queensland under-19 side and made his first-class debut as a 19-year-old against South Australia at the Gabba in March 2010. The Perth Scorchers are an Australian men's professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team that competes in the Big Bash League. The 2012–13 Big Bash League season or BBL, 02 was the second season of the Big Bash League, the top-class Twenty20 cricket competition in Australia. The tournament began on 7 December 2012, with the final held on 19 January 2013. Defending champions, Sydney Sixers were knocked out in the group stage. Melbourne Renegades finished first in the group stage with seven wins. Perth Scorchers, Melbourne Stars and Brisbane Heat were the other teams to reach the semi-finals. The 2011–12 Big Bash League season or BBL, 01 was the inaugural season of the Big Bash League, the top-class franchise Twenty20 cricket competition in Australia. The tournament replaced the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, which ran each season from 2005–06 to 2010–11 featuring state teams. The tournament was won by the Sydney Sixers, which defeated Perth Scorchers in the final at the WACA Ground on 28 January 2012. Big Bash League
The Big Bash League (BBL), also known as the KFC Big Bash League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Australia. Established in 2011 by Cricket Australia, the Big Bash League replaced the previous competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, and features eight city-based franchises instead of the six state teams which had participated previously. The competition has been sponsored by fast food chicken outlet KFC since its inception.
