Chris Atkin
Christopher Atkin (born 7 February 1993) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a or for the Castleford Tigers in the Super League. He has previously played for the Swinton Lions in League 1 and the Championship. Atkin also played for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Championship and the Super League, and for Salford Red Devils in the Super League. He has represented the England Knights at international level. Atkin is also a qualified teacher, previously teaching Physical Education at Wade Deacon High School in Widnes. 2021 Super League Season
Super League XXVI, known as the 2021 Betfred Super League XXVI for sponsorship reasons, was the 26th season of the Super League and 127th season of rugby league in Great Britain. The 2021 season was originally scheduled to begin on 11 March 2021, however, on 14 January 2021, it was announced that all clubs had agreed to push the start date back by two weeks, to increase the chances of fans being able to attend matches. St Helens were the reigning champions going into Super League XXVI, after successfully retaining their title against Wigan Warriors, in the Grand Final. The Brick Community Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Robin Park in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. It is used by Wigan Warriors rugby league club and Wigan Athletic F.C., Wigan Athletic association football, football club. The stadium is owned by local businessman, Mike Danson, who owns both Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors. Built and opened in 1999, it was initially the JJB Stadium after its main sponsor.
