Chosun University
Chosun University () is one of the oldest private universities in South Korea. Its campus is situated in Gwangju metropolitan city, in southwestern South Korea. Around 33,000 students are enrolled. Academics Undergraduate courses are offered through the university's 16 Colleges: General Education, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Law, Social Sciences, Business, Engineering, Electronics and Information Engineering, Education, Foreign Studies, Physical Education, Art and Design, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Natural Medical Sciences. Jang Ja-yeon
Jang Ja-yeon (; 25 January 1980 – 7 March 2009) was a South Korean actress. She was born in Jeongeup, South Korea. She debuted in the entertainment industry when she appeared in a television commercial in 2006. She was known for being part of the KBS television drama series ''Boys Over Flowers'' as Sunny, one of the antagonists of the series, at the time of her death. She died by suicide on 7 March 2009 at the age of 29. At the time of her death, Jang had been suffering from depression, and it was revealed in 2019 that the initial investigation into her death in 2009 had been corrupt. The 2009 investigation had concluded that her death was a suicide, but the investigation was reopened in 2018. South Korea is known for its high academic performance in reading, mathematics, and science, consistently ranking above the OECD average. South Korean education sits at ninth place in the world. Higher education is highly valued. People believe doing well in school helps them move up in society and have better jobs. The education system in South Korea is known for being very strict and competitive. Kim Joo-sung (born 17 January 1964) is a former South Korean football player. Kim is regarded as one of the greatest Asian footballers of the 20th century. He was nominated for the IFFHS Asia's Player of the Century, finishing second place. Club career Kim joined Daewoo Royals in 1987. Hong Jeong-ho (, or ; born 12 August 1989) is a South Korean footballer who plays for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors as a centre-back. His brother Hong Jeong-nam is also a footballer.
