Chimbala
Leury José Tejeda Brito, musically known as Chimbala, is a Dominican urban music rapper and singer from Santo Domingo. He has been dubbed one of the primary performers of dembow in Latin America. He has collaborated with artists such as El Alfa, Mozart La Para, José Reyes, Don Miguelo, Black Point and La Materalista. He gained fame with the song "Maniquí" calling Farruko attention and doing a remix. Career Chimbala's musical history begins in his neighborhood where he made songs for an album that came out but was not very popular, later with a more established work machinery, Chimbala put the final touches on his album "Chimbala de este lado". In 2012, Chimbala released the songs "Tu ere un loco" and "Cuenta Conmigo" (with the collaborations of Pablo Piddy and Toxic Crow), among others. Justin Rafael Quiles Rivera (born March 29, 1990) is an American singer and songwriter. He specializes in reggaeton, although his repertoire also includes genres such as Latin pop and Latin trap. Dominican Dembow
Dominican dembow (), also known as simply dembow, is a style of music originating from the Dominican Republic which has been mostly described as a subgenre or derivative form of reggaeton which evolved from dancehall. Dominican dembow is characterized by its use of a sped-up dembow rhythm as its core percussion element (while standard reggaeton employs the same rhythm at a slower tempo). The name dembow is credited to the Shabba Ranks song Dem Bow which was remixed by Wisin Y Yandel and many others and the Dembow beat became a staple in the reggaeton community. The subgenre diverged from early reggaeton during the 2000s. During this time, Puerto Rican reggaeton was evolving to become more melodic, polished, and lyrically romantic, and would eventually become the basis for most reggaeton music today. El Alfa
Emanuel Herrera Batista (born 18 December 1990), known by his stage name El Alfa or El Alfa El Jefe, is a Dominican rapper, known as the King of Dembow. Batista was born in Bajos de Haina, San Cristobal. He is known for his initial afro hairstyle which led him to popularity in the early 2010s through songs like "Tarzan", "Coche Bomba" and "Muevete Jevi". He went on to form good relationships with many artists from Puerto Rico, such as Bad Bunny, Nicky Jam, Farruko, and Myke Towers amongst others. Erickson Fernández (born January 31, 1988), known by the stage name Mozart La Para, is a Dominican rapper and singer who has had songs in the charts five times. Early life Fernández was born in Los Mina, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Career In 2016, he signed to Roc Nation, becoming the first artist to be signed to that label's Latin division.
