Chicco () is an Italian manufacturer of children's clothing and toys with retail outlets worldwide, producing items in Italy and China. The company was founded in 1958 in Como, Italy. It is now owned by Artsana, and is present in more than 120 countries. History Chicco was founded in 1958 in Como, Italy by ''Cavaliere del Lavoro'' Pietro Catelli, who wanted to celebrate the birth of his first son Enrico, dearly known as "Chicco". On the founder's death in 2006, the company passed to his three children, Enrico, Michele and Francesca, who would open new branches in India, Russia, Mexico and Poland. Since May 2013, the role of ''Managing Director'' has been held by Claudio De Conto.
