Cheryl Burke
Cheryl Burke (born May 3, 1984) is an American dancer, model, and television host. She is best known for being a professional dancer on ABC's ''Dancing with the Stars''. She was the first female professional to win the show and the first professional to win twice and also consecutively. She has participated in 26 seasons. She came in second on the NBC series '' I Can Do That.'' She replaced Abby Lee Miller on ''Dance Moms'' in 2017. Early life Burke was born and raised in San Francisco. Burke attended Menlo-Atherton High School. Her father is American and her mother is Filipino. When she was still an infant, her parents divorced and her father eventually moved to Thailand. Her mother, a nurse-turned-entrepreneur, later remarried and established a healthcare company. A 23andMe DNA test showed Burke to be of 53% Ashkenazi Jewish and 47% Filipino descent. Dancing With The Stars (US Season 4)
Season four of ''Dancing with the Stars'' premiered on March 19, 2007, on the ABC network. To avoid direct competition with Fox's ''American Idol'', ''Dancing with the Stars'' changed time slots from the previous season. This season, the performance show aired on Mondays and the results show aired on Tuesdays. No elimination took place the first week in order to allow viewers two weeks to see all of the couples perform both Latin and ballroom dances. Alejandro Lazo (born February 23) is a Cuban-American professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer based in Palm Beach, Florida. Lazo was the US International Rising Star Latin Champion in 1990 and went on through over twenty years of successful DanceSport competition. This cumulated in 1999 when he became the U.S. Nine-Dance Champion. He has appeared numerous times in television and theater in various capacities, and has also transitioned into the world of broadcast media as a spokesperson, guest host, and artist.
