Dr. Chenchu Garataiah Bachina (born 1 March 1948) is an Indian Politician of YSR Congress Party. He was a member of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) until 2009. Personal life Dr. Chenchu Garataiah Bachina was born and brought up in Panguluru Mandal of Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. His father's name is Bachina Veera Raghavaiah, his mother's name is Lakshmi Kanthamma and his spouse's name is Ratna Kumari. He has total of three children. He pursued SSC, PUC and acquired M.B.B.S. Degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka in the year 1972. Prakasam District
Prakasam district is one of the thirteen districts in the coastal Andhra region of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It was formed in 1970 and reorganised in 2022 on April 4. The headquarters of the district is Ongole. It is located on the western shore of Bay of Bengal and is bounded by Bapatla district and Palnadu districts on the north, Nandyal district on the west, Kadapa and Nellore districts on the south. A part of north west region also borders with Nagarkurnool district of Telangana. It is the largest district in the state with an area of and had a population of 2,288,026 as per 2011 Census of India. Gandhi Medical College (founded 14 September 1954) is a medical college in Hyderabad, India affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences. The college was originally affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences. History Gandhi Medical College, originally named People's Medical College, was founded on 14 September 1954. It was located at Humayun nagar close to the present-day Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital. It was opened because the original medical college in the area, Osmania Medical College, was unable to keep up with the demands for physicians in the State. Dr. Syed Nizamuddin Ahmed was the first principal and the founder of the college. Officially it was inaugurated on 25 June 1955 by the first president of India, Rajendra Prasad. Ongole
Ongole is a city in Prakasam district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Prakasam district and also the mandal headquarters of Ongole mandal in Ongole revenue division. Ongole cattle, an indigenous breed of oxen, derived its name from Ongole.
