Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Annecy is the ''communauté d'agglomération'', an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Annecy. It is located in the Haute-Savoie department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, southeastern France. It was created in January 2017 by the merger of the former ''communauté de l'agglomération d'Annecy'' and four communautés de communes. Its area is 515.0 km2. Fier (river)
The Fier () is a long river in the Haute-Savoie and Savoie '' départements'', southeastern France. Its source is at Manigod, in the Aravis Range. It flows generally west. In France, an urban unit () is a statistical area defined by INSEE, the French national statistics office, for the measurement of contiguously built-up areas. Annecy
Annecy ( , ; , also ) is the Prefectures in France, prefecture and List of communes in France with over 20,000 inhabitants, largest city of the Haute-Savoie Departments of France, department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regions of France, region of Southeastern France. It lies on the northern tip of Lake Annecy, south of Geneva, Switzerland.
